Sunbed FAQs and Safety Guidance
Everything you need to know before your visit. This page covers our policies and general UV safety guidance — if you’re ever unsure whether sunbed use is right for you, our team is happy to talk it through in person.
FAQs
Yes. Commercial sunbed use at Glow & Go is strictly for over-18s only.
You're welcome to walk in, or contact us ahead of your visit if you'd like to check availability.
We offer a choice of sunbeds to suit different preferences and session lengths — our team can talk you through what's available when you visit.
Session length isn't one-size-fits-all — it depends on your skin type and tanning history. Our team will help you choose an appropriate session when you visit.
We offer pay-as-you-go pricing plus 30, 60 and 90-minute packages, and 1-week and 4-week packages (each capped at 60 minutes per week). Pay-as-you-go and minute packages don't expire. Weekly packages must be used within their stated period — any unused minutes don't carry over once the week ends.
General guidance, based on official UV safety advice:
- Remove make-up, perfume, and skincare products before your session
- Wear the eye protection provided at all times during your session
- Moisturise your skin after your session
- Avoid tanning again until any redness has fully settled
As sunbed use is strictly for over-18s, we may ask to see valid photo ID — such as a passport, UK driving licence, or another government-issued ID showing your date of birth — before your first session.
If you're at all unsure whether sunbed use is right for you, please contact the team before your visit — we're happy to talk it through. This isn't a substitute for medical advice.
Over 18s only.
Safety Information
UV tanning carries risk, and sunbed use isn’t suitable for everyone. We do not claim sunbed use is safe, risk-free, or beneficial to health.
